Responsible Gambling

At a6wan, responsible gambling is not a legal footnote — it is a core part of how we operate. This page gives you the tools, knowledge and support resources to keep gaming an enjoyable activity rather than a harmful one. If you ever feel that gambling is becoming a problem, please read on and reach out.

Our Commitment

Gambling Should Always Stay Fun

a6wan is an online gaming information and entertainment platform. We believe that for the overwhelming majority of adults, gambling is a straightforward leisure activity — a bit of added excitement when watching a PSL T20 match, or a relaxing session on a live casino table. That is exactly what it should be.

But we also know that for a minority of users, gambling can develop into something more serious. Problem gambling does not discriminate — it can affect users from Karachi to Lahore, from Islamabad to Multan, regardless of age, background or income. Recognising that reality is part of what makes a6wan different from platforms that treat responsible gambling as a box-ticking exercise.

We integrate responsible gambling tools at every stage of the user journey. Setting limits is fast. Requesting a cooling-off period takes seconds. Self-exclusion is permanent when you need it to be. And our support team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in both English and Urdu.

Important: All a6wan services are strictly limited to adults aged 18 and above, or the higher minimum required by the operator's license jurisdiction. Gambling is not a way to solve financial problems, and winnings are never guaranteed.

The Golden Rules of Responsible Play

Only gamble with money you can afford to lose
Treat gambling as entertainment spending, not an investment. Never use rent, grocery or emergency funds.
Set a budget before you start — and stick to it
Decide your maximum spend before opening the cashier. Use our deposit limit tools to enforce it automatically.
Take regular breaks and set session time limits
Fatigue and prolonged sessions impair decision-making. Use our time limit tools and reality check reminders.
Never chase losses
Attempting to win back losses is one of the most common triggers for problem gambling. Accept losses as the cost of entertainment.
Do not gamble when upset, stressed or under pressure
Emotional states significantly affect judgement. Step away from the platform and return only when relaxed and clear-headed.
Built-In Protections

Responsible Gambling Tools

Every responsible gambling tool on a6wan is available at no cost, accessible directly from your Account Settings, and takes effect immediately when applied. These are not difficult processes — they are designed to be instant.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum deposit amount on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits can be processed until the period resets. Reducing your limit takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit requires a mandatory cooling-off period before it activates — protecting you from impulsive decisions made in the moment.

Loss Limits

Define the maximum net loss you are prepared to accept within a given period — daily, weekly or monthly. When your loss limit is reached, your ability to place further wagers is suspended for the remainder of the period. This tool is particularly useful for players who find it difficult to stop during a losing streak, removing the decision entirely.

Session Time Limits

Restrict the length of individual gambling sessions. When your session time limit expires, you will be automatically logged out. Combine this with regular break reminders — our reality check feature sends on-screen alerts at intervals you choose, showing how long you have been playing and your net account balance movement for the session.

Cooling-Off Period

Request a voluntary temporary break from the Platform without fully closing your Account. Cooling-off periods of 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days are available. During the cooling-off period, all betting activity is suspended and you will not receive any marketing communications. Your Account data is preserved and the period cannot be shortened once activated.

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is the strongest responsible gambling tool available. Choose an exclusion period of 6 months, 1 year, 3 years or permanent exclusion. Once active, you will be unable to log in, deposit or place bets for the duration chosen. Permanent self-exclusion cannot be reversed. We take self-exclusion requests extremely seriously and process them immediately upon confirmation.

Account Activity Review

Access a full history of your gambling activity — deposits, withdrawals, bets placed, games played, wins and losses — directly from your Account dashboard. Reviewing your activity history regularly is one of the most effective ways to maintain awareness of your gambling behaviour and catch early warning signs before they become serious problems.

How to access these tools: All responsible gambling tools are available under Account Settings > Responsible Gambling within your a6wan dashboard. If you have difficulty locating or activating any tool, contact our 24/7 live support team immediately.

Recognise the Signs

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling rarely announces itself loudly. It tends to develop gradually, often disguised as a run of bad luck or a temporary phase. Being honest with yourself — and aware of the warning signs — is the first and most important step toward maintaining control.

If any of the following signs are familiar, either in yourself or in someone you know, please take them seriously. Speaking to our support team, using our self-exclusion tools, or seeking guidance from an independent responsible gambling resource could make a significant difference.

These signs apply equally to users in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and every other city. Problem gambling is not limited by location.
01
Gambling with money needed for essentials

Using funds meant for rent, food, utility bills or family expenses — including transfers via Easypaisa, JazzCash or your bank account — to fund gambling activity is a serious warning sign that requires immediate attention.

02
Chasing losses obsessively

Placing increasingly large bets in an attempt to recover previous losses, often believing the next bet will "fix everything." This is one of the clearest behavioural indicators of problem gambling.

03
Being unable to stop when you want to

Attempting to stop or reduce gambling but finding yourself unable to follow through, or repeatedly returning after deciding to quit. The loss of voluntary control over gambling behaviour is a defining feature of gambling disorder.

04
Gambling affecting relationships or work

When gambling leads to arguments with family members, missed work deadlines, neglected responsibilities or withdrawal from social activities, it has moved beyond entertainment into harmful territory.

05
Hiding gambling activity from others

Feeling the need to conceal how much time or money you are spending on gambling — whether from family in Lahore, colleagues in Islamabad or friends anywhere — suggests an awareness that the behaviour has become problematic.

06
Borrowing money to fund gambling

Taking loans, borrowing from friends or family, or using credit facilities specifically to continue gambling after depleting your own funds is a severe warning sign that professional support is urgently needed.
